Quebec Precious Metals Granted Financial Support from Quebec Government for Lithium

Quebec Precious Metals Corporation (QPM) has secured financial assistance up to $333,306 from the ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts (MRNF) for its Elmer Est project in Northern Quebec.

This support is part of the Mineral Exploration Support Program for Critical and Strategic Minerals (MCS), helping companies develop mineral deposits in Quebec.

Normand Champigny, CEO of QPM, expressed gratitude to the MRNF. The funding will support geometallurgical studies to optimize production and develop lithium resources identified at the Ninaaskumuwin lithium discovery.

The Ninaaskumuwin lithium prospect is located near the Billy Diamond highway, approximately 50 km north of the 'km 381' rest stop. Surface assay values from the discovery outcrop have shown up to 3.92% Li2O.
