Q.beyond Partners with Fraunhofer IGD for Innovative Data Intelligence and Visualization

On March 19, 2024, q.beyond AG announced a strategic cooperation with Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD to enhance data processing and visualization. This collaboration aims to unlock optimizations in company processes and represent them graphically to ease decision-making for improvements.

Both institutions are poised to support businesses in leveraging the vast amounts of data they hold, through scientific and pragmatic methodologies. Marc Böning, Managing Director at q.beyond Data Solutions, emphasized the ubiquity of optimization opportunities across different sectors and the efficiency of their new approach in detecting and analyzing potential improvements.

q.beyond and Fraunhofer IGD are already collaborating on a project for an energy sector client, developing a solution to visualize data anomalies in energy consumption assisted by artificial intelligence. This partnership not only strengthens digitalization but also enhances competitive standings globally, as noted by Prof. Jörn Kohlhammer of Fraunhofer IGD.

Following the investment in "productive-data," q.beyond’s "Data Solutions" subsidiary has seen growth, extending contract terms with existing clients, broadening most contracts’ scopes, and securing new business engagements, notably with large retailers and insurers.
