Q2 Metals Initiates 2025 Winter Drill Program at Cisco Lithium Project
Q2 Metals Corp. has launched the 2025 Winter Drill Program at the Cisco Lithium Project, located in the Nemaska traditional territory of Quebec's Eeyou Istchee James Bay. The program aims to conduct 6,000 to 8,000 meters of diamond drilling using two rigs, building on the 2024 results, which included notable findings such as 215.6 meters at 1.69% Li2O.
The program's first drill hole marks a 400-meter step out from the easternmost point of the 2024 drill series. Exploration Vice President Neil McCallum emphasizes the potential for expanding the currently identified mineralized zone. Step outs of 200 to 400 meters are planned to evaluate further mineralization.
The 2025 Winter Program also aims to refine drilling approaches based on optical televiewer data from previous drilling. Q2 Metals will present its progress at the upcoming PDAC 2025 event in Toronto.
