Q Precious and Battery Metals Corp. (QMET) has announced the inclusion of its Lorrain property in a promising hydrogen exploration area in Quebec. Situated within the Ville-Marie and Béarn region, the site consists of 11 claims covering 633 hectares. This region has seen a surge in interest following Quebec Innovative Materials Corp.'s (QIMC) discovery of hydrogen gas in soil. QIMC's findings have propelled the area's potential, highlighting its favourable geological features for hydrogen.

Originally acquired in 2020 for its potential in precious metals, QMET's claims now stand out due to the area's unique geology. The presence of Paleoproterozoic sedimentary rocks and Archean formations creates an ideal setting for hydrogen exploration. QMET plans to continue evaluating these claims under Dr. Mathieu Piché's supervision, aiming for targeted hydrogen exploration initiatives.
