Pursuit NW Organizes Interfaith March for Israel at University of Southern California

The Pursuit NW, led by Pastor Russell Johnson, announced an upcoming interfaith rally titled "United for Israel" to be held at the University of Southern California on May 8, 2024. The event will begin on Exposition Blvd and proceed to the USC campus, starting at 5:30 PM. This rally follows a successful similar event at Columbia University, which attracted over 4,500 participants.

The initiative aims to address the rise of antisemitism on college campuses by uniting various faith groups, including Jewish and Christian organizations. Collaborators include Sean Feucht's Let Us Worship and StandWithUs. The rally will focus on Israel's right to self-defense, the release of hostages, and the pursuit of peace in the region.

Pastor Johnson noted the effectiveness of past events, such as one in Seattle that featured Mosab Hassan Yousef, a notable advocate for peace and former Hamas insider. The Pursuit NW, a non-denominational church based in Washington State, has made significant efforts to engage communities across various locations, advocating for unity and peace through their events.
