PSI Software SE Returns to Profitability in Q4 2024

PSI Software SE has reported a return to profitability in the fourth quarter of 2024, with new orders totaling 59 million euros. Sales in the fourth quarter were slightly below the previous year's figure, standing at 83.4 million euros. The Group's EBIT was positive at 4.2 million euros during this period.

For the entire year 2024, PSI experienced a 3.4% decline in sales, amounting to 260.8 million euros. The Group's EBIT for the year remained negative at -15.2 million euros due to the impact of a cyberattack earlier in the year. Despite this, recurring revenues grew to 106 million euros.

In terms of segment performance, the Grid & Energy Management segment reported sales of 115.6 million euros but faced a negative operating result of -14.8 million euros. The Process Industries & Metals segment achieved a positive EBIT of 1.2 million euros, supported by strong performance in North America.

Looking ahead, PSI anticipates growth in new orders and sales by around 10% in 2025, with recurring revenues from maintenance, upgrade, and SaaS contracts expected to grow by at least 10%.
