PSI Software SE Reports Significant Growth for Fiscal Year 2023, Despite Challenges

PSI Software SE announced preliminary results revealing significant growth for the financial year 2023, alongside a stabilization in the last quarter's results. The company witnessed a 17.2% increase in new orders, amounting to 296 million euros. This growth is attributed to a robust fourth quarter, pushing the total group sales to 269.9 million euros, an 8.9% increase from the previous year. Despite facing one-off effects, the operating result remained stable at 5.6 million euros, aligning with the company’s projections.

CEO Robert Klaffus highlighted the company's recovery from negative impacts in the Electrical Grids business segment in previous years, crediting the team's effort towards profitable growth. He also mentioned ongoing challenges following a cyberattack since February 15, which has led to a gradual restart of IT systems.

Due to these challenges, PSI will delay the publication of its complete and audited annual financial statements. Initially planned for March 28, 2024, the release is now rescheduled for the end of May 2024 at the latest.
