PPF to Boost Stake in ProSiebenSat.1 to 29.99%
PPF Group N.V., through its subsidiary PPF IM LTD, announced a public acquisition offer to increase its stake in ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE to up to 29.99%. PPF currently holds nearly 15% of ProSiebenSat.1 and plans to acquire more shares for 7.00 euros per share. This move underscores PPF's commitment as a major shareholder supporting ProSiebenSat.1's strategic direction.
The proposal is not to obtain a controlling interest but offers a better cash alternative for shareholders compared to MFE-MEDIAFOREUROPE's recent offer. ProSiebenSat.1's Executive Board welcomes the heightened engagement from PPF, which would help execute the company's strategic pursuits.
