Pro-invest Group Awarded Aareal Bank's Largest Green Hotel Portfolio Loan in Asia-Pacific

Pro-invest Group and Aareal Bank AG have announced a landmark achievement in their commitment to sustainability within the hotel industry in Asia-Pacific. Aareal Bank, a key player in the global real estate banking market, has extended its largest green hotel portfolio loan to Pro-invest Group's Fund I portfolio, encompassing five hotels. This strategic move was facilitated by Aareal Bank acting as the arranger and sole lender, marking a significant step in both entities' dedication to environmental stewardship.

The refinancing initiative includes notable properties such as the Holiday Inn Express in Brisbane Central, Adelaide City Centre, Melbourne Southbank, Newcastle, and Sydney Airport. These hotels have successfully met the Green Finance Framework 2023 of Aareal Bank, achieving at least a 4.5-star rating under the National Australian Built Environmental Rating System (NABERS) Energy rating scheme. This accomplishment not only demonstrates a commitment to reducing environmental impact but also aligns with investor returns expectations.

Officials from both Pro-invest Group and Aareal Bank expressed their views on this partnership, highlighting the alignment of sustainability and strategic financial solutions.
