PPX Mining Corp. Provides Update on Construction Permitting

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / August 15, 2024 / PPX Mining Corp. ("PPX") has announced that it has filed a response to the findings provided by the Peruvian permitting authority (GREMH) regarding its detail engineering permitting application. This application concerns the construction of a CIL and Flotation plant at the Callanquitas Mine, IGOR Project. This submission is the final requirement to receive the construction permit from GREMH.

On February 14, 2024, PPX received initial approval from GREMH for the amendment of its Environmental Impact Study, necessary for plant construction. This milestone was previously reported in a press release dated February 15, 2024.

John Thomas, CEO of PPX, stated, "We are pleased to be in the final stage of this permitting process. Upon approval, the company will immediately commence on-site construction activities. The processing plant will enable us to process oxides and sulfides from the Callanquitas Mine, producing doré bars and a high-grade gold and silver concentrate."
