Positively Arts Hosts Viewing Party for Award-Winning Documentary
On August 18, Positively Arts, a Las Vegas nonprofit, celebrated the success of its documentary, Home: Mother of 3000, with a special viewing party. The event took place at HyperX Arena in the Luxor Hotel and was generously supported by Yinghua Chen and her team at Allied Esports.
The documentary, which highlights Positively Arts' work empowering youth, won the "Best Nevada Film" award at the 10th Annual Nevada Women's Film Festival. Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft attended the event, declaring August 18 as "Positively Arts Day" in Clark County. He praised the organization’s dedication and presented CEO Pilita Simpson with a plaque.
The evening featured performances by student artists, a film screening, and a Q&A session with the cast. CEO Yinghua Chen of Allied Gaming & Entertainment was introduced as a new board member of Positively Arts during the event. The film, directed by Jemsen Yumico Bollozos and produced by Eccentric Artists, documents the organization's impact on children's lives through arts and mental health practices.
