Poplar Creek Resources Inc. Announces Default Status Report
Calgary, AB / ACCESSWIRE / July 8, 2024 / Poplar Creek Resources Inc. (the "Corporation") has issued a Default Status Report as per National Policy 12-203 ("NP 12-203"). On May 8, 2024, the Corporation disclosed it could not file its annual audited financial statements, management's discussion and analysis, and related CEO and CFO certificates (the "Required Filings") by the April 29, 2024 deadline.
The Corporation requested the Alberta Securities Commission ("ASC") to approve a temporary management cease trade order ("MCTO") to restrict the CEO and CFO from trading the Corporation’s securities. This MCTO was issued on May 9, 2024.
Efforts are ongoing to complete the Required Filings by August 12, 2024. As of now, there have been no material changes or further defaults under NP 12-203. The Corporation anticipates completing the year-end filings before submitting the interim financial statements for the period ended March 31, 2024, and the related CEO and CFO certificates.
The Corporation remains compliant with all NP 12-203 guidelines and confirms no additional material information remains unreported.
