Verdera Energy Successfully Closes $20 Million Financing
Verdera Energy Corp. and POCML 7 Inc. have announced the completion of a $20 million financing through the issuance of subscription receipts. The transaction aligns with Verdera's strategy to advance its uranium projects in New Mexico.
The offering was managed by Haywood Securities Inc. and SCP Resource Finance LP, among others, resulting in the issuance of 17,330,000 Verdera Subscription Receipts and 2,670,000 POCML7 Subscription Receipts at $1.00 each. Proceeds are held in escrow until certain conditions are fulfilled, leading to the possible conversion of receipts into common shares.
The funds will target exploration and engineering studies at the Crownpoint and Hosta Butte Project. Verdera anticipates trading on the TSX Venture Exchange as of February 24, 2026, under the ticker "V".
