Play Group Partners with NAGRAVISION for PayTV Security Transition

Kudelski Group's NAGRAVISION has announced a partnership with Play Poland to secure the recently acquired UPC Polska PayTV service. Play Poland will use the NAGRA OneCAS solution for seamless integration of over one million set-top boxes and conditional access modules (CAM) with both card-based and cardless technologies. This move minimizes service disruption risks for subscribers and avoids the replacement of costly equipment.

Play Poland, a part of the French iliad Group, aims to ensure continuity for its subscribers by collaborating with NAGRAVISION. Michał Ziółkowski, CTO of Play Poland, emphasized the importance of this migration's complexity and the need for a reliable partner, highlighting NAGRAVISION's experience and solutions.

NAGRAVISION's technologies offer content protection and subscriber management capabilities, setting industry standards in secure solutions. Olivier Met, SVP Sales EMEA at NAGRAVISION, expressed pride in supporting Play Poland's business expansion and securing content against piracy.
