PLANOPTIK AG Announces Corporate Restructuring

PLANOPTIK AG is undertaking significant structural changes by merging its German subsidiaries, MMT GmbH and Little Things Factory GmbH, into the main company. This consolidation aims to centralize core activities and enhance efficiency, with most products now marketed under the PLANOPTIK brand.

The restructuring capitalizes on shared production and administrative resources, particularly in microsystems technology. By integrating processes, PLANOPTIK seeks to streamline operations and better allocate resources. The merger is set to strengthen sales of high-potential microsystems technology products while scaling back less profitable activities.

Additionally, the AIRTUNE business, focusing on odor elimination products and generating lower sales, will be spun off into a new subsidiary, AIRTUNE GmbH, taking a lesser role in the company's future strategy.
