PIERER Mobility AG Secures Funding from Bajaj for KTM Restructuring
PIERER Mobility AG has announced that Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V. is providing crucial financial support to assist in the restructuring of KTM AG. Creditors had approved a 30% restructuring plan quota for KTM AG and its subsidiaries, which is due by May 23, 2025. The required funds total EUR 525 million.
Bajaj has granted a loan of EUR 450 million to KTM AG and an additional EUR 150 million to PIERER Mobility AG. This financial backing ensures the continuity of KTM's operations amid debt restructuring.
Stefan Pierer will step down from PIERER Mobility AG's Executive Board in June 2025. Verena Schneglberger-Grossmann, serving with the company since 2015, will join as the new Chief Legal Officer, assisting CEO Gottfried Neumeister.
