Bajaj Gains Sole Control Over PIERER Mobility AG

As of November 18, 2025, Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V. has secured sole control of PIERER Mobility AG. This follows the execution of a call option agreement with Pierer Industrie AG on May 22, 2025. The agreement allowed Bajaj to acquire all shares held by Pierer Industrie AG in Pierer Bajaj AG, thereby indirectly controlling PIERER Mobility AG by the end of May 2026.

Bajaj exercised the call option and today, the transfer of shares took place. This transaction has made Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V. the sole shareholder of Pierer Bajaj AG, holding approximately 74.9% of the shares, thus establishing Bajaj as the controlling majority shareholder of PIERER Mobility AG.
