Petrofac Reaches Key Agreement with Samsung E&A and Saipem
Petrofac Limited has announced reaching an agreement in principle with Samsung E&A and Saipem concerning claims related to the Thai Oil project. The agreement is backed by the Ad Hoc Group of Bondholders, pending final documentation. This milestone enables Petrofac to progress its Restructuring plans with these parties' consent.
The company now focuses on concluding talks with stakeholders to implement the Restructuring. Subject to approvals and conditions, completion is anticipated by the end of November 2025. Petrofac will disclose further information when appropriate, ensuring compliance with its disclosure obligations.
