Pernod Ricard Acquires Stake in Lewis Hamilton's Non-Alc Agave Spirit, Almave

Pernod Ricard has announced the acquisition of a minority stake in Almave, a non-alcoholic blue agave spirit co-founded by Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton, Casa Lumbre, and Copper. Almave aligns with global trends in tequila, non-alcoholic products, and authenticity.

Hamilton was motivated by a desire for an alcohol-free alternative to tequila. Almave, distilled in Jalisco, Mexico, blends tradition with innovation, bypassing fermentation to capture the essence of blue agave. The brand offers Almave Blanco and Almave Ámbar, catering to both mixers and sippers.

Pernod Ricard will leverage its expertise in brand building and global distribution to expand Almave's reach. Alexandre Ricard, CEO, highlighted Almave's exceptional quality and market potential. Hamilton expressed confidence in Pernod Ricard's ability to scale Almave globally.
