Perk Labs Inc. Announces Progress on New App for Carleton University Students' Association

Perk Labs Inc., which owns Getit Technologies, is progressing with the development of a native app for the Carleton University Students' Association (CUSA). The app aims to enhance convenience by integrating various services like food and beverage ordering, event ticketing, and registration on one platform. It is scheduled for release in May.

With over 30,000 students and 2,400 staff at Carleton University, Getit currently supports food service operations and manages event logistics through a web-based app. The new native app will expand payment options, including the ability to process donations and incorporate a customizable loyalty program that rewards frequent users.

CUSA has reported positive feedback from students and increased operational efficiency using the existing Getit system. The upcoming loyalty points feature is expected to drive further growth and engagement across campus services.

Getit anticipates that other clients adopting this native app model will see revenue increases due to greater visibility and enhanced data analysis capabilities, which facilitate targeted marketing and promotions.
