Pecan Energies Announces Completion of Rebranding, Aiming for African Prosperity

Pecan Energies, the entity steering the Deepwater Tano/Cape Three Points (DWT/CTP) block in Ghana, has officially concluded its rebranding. This step signifies a renewed focus on fostering prosperity and growing African communities. The rebranding introduces a fresh logo and brand identity, aligning with the company's vision under the tagline "Unlocking Prosperity".

The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) acquired Pecan Energies in April 2023, laying the groundwork for this new brand identity. With a 50 percent stake in the DWT/CTP block, Pecan aims to become the leading Pan-African oil and gas operator, promoting value creation and transparency. Eiliv Gjesdal, CEO of Pecan Energies AS, emphasized the company's dedication to using its expertise for positive outcomes in Ghana and beyond.

Progressing towards a Final Investment Decision (FID), Pecan Energies under its revamped identity, aims to leverage the DWT/CTP block's resources for economic and social impact, with discoveries totaling approximately 550 million barrels of recoverable oil equivalents. "Sustainability, localization, empowerment, and giving back are embedded in our operations," stated Kadijah Amoah, CEO of Pecan Energies Ghana Limited.

The rebranding encompasses a modern logo reflecting a forward-thinking mindset and a brand palette that underscores the company's commitment to sustainable development. Pecan Energies' refreshed vision and mission are focused on resource production in an efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible manner, aspiring to enhance prosperity in Ghana and wider regions.
