Partners Group to Divest Stake in Ararat Wind Farm

Partners Group, a prominent private markets firm, will sell its stake in the Ararat Wind Farm in Victoria, Australia, to Iberdrola S.A. The Ararat project, with 75 turbines generating 242 MW, supplies energy to approximately 120,000 homes and offsets 600,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

The firm led Ararat from development through full operation. This wind farm benefits from a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with the ACT Government, ensuring stable revenues. The sale marks a complete exit for Partners Group from its Australian wind portfolio, following the 2022 sale of CWP Renewables and its 1.1 GW of wind assets.

With global AuM of USD 31 billion, Partners Group's infrastructure business continues to focus on strong, resilient assets. Advisor roles for the Ararat transaction were held by Azure Capital and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.
