Partners Group Completes USD 1.9 Billion Investment in EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure

Partners Group, a major player in global private markets, has completed a USD 1.9 billion equity investment in EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure. This marks the second equity capital raise since acquiring the company in 2022, conducted in conjunction with the firm's clients.

The investment aims to fund EdgeCore's continued development and expansion of its data center platform. Currently, EdgeCore operates data centers in Ashburn, VA, Phoenix, AZ, Reno, NV, and Silicon Valley, CA. A new campus is being developed in Culpeper, VA.

EdgeCore, based in Denver, CO, leases data center sites to leading cloud ecosystem companies. The capital will help meet growing demands for data processing and storage driven by generative AI, cloud computing, and 5G technologies. Partners Group will remain the majority investor following this latest funding.
