Park Lawn Expands in North Carolina and Central Texas; Announces Leadership Changes

On August 5, 2024, Park Lawn Corporation ("Park Lawn" or "PLC") acquired Carolina Memorial Park of Concord-Kannapolis, Carolina Memorial Park of Harrisburg-Charlotte, and Whitley's Funeral Home in North Carolina. This acquisition includes two cemeteries and one funeral home. Additionally, Park Lawn acquired Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funerals & Cremations in Waco, Texas on September 9, 2024, integrating one funeral home into its portfolio.

J. Bradley Green, CEO of PLC, expressed satisfaction with these strategic acquisitions, highlighting their importance in expanding the company's presence in North Carolina and central Texas. Green praised the acquired businesses as market leaders and welcomed them into the Park Lawn family.

Park Lawn also announced leadership changes effective August 10, 2024. Jay Dodds has transitioned from President and COO to Chief Strategy Officer. Jennifer Hay has been promoted to President and General Counsel. Mathew Forastiere is now the Chief Operations Officer. Green commended the new leadership team for their expertise and dedication to the company's long-term strategy.
