Pace Analytical Services Appoints Dr. Michael Berg as Technical Director in Building Sciences

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Pace® Analytical Services, known for its regulatory testing and analytical laboratory services, announced the appointment of Dr. Michael Berg as Technical Director of the Building Sciences unit. Dr. Berg, with an 18-year track record in environmental testing and expertise in microbiology, will focus on enhancing service quality and process optimization at Pace®.

Dr. Berg’s responsibilities include improving operational processes and client relations. His expertise covers a range of microbiological tests such as Legionella, mold, and USP standards. His role is pivotal in maintaining and elevating Pace’s high standards of laboratory services within the Built Environments, testing air, water, surfaces, and materials for contaminants.

According to Robert DeMalo, Vice President of Operations for Building Sciences at Pace®, Dr. Berg's leadership skills and extensive experience will play a crucial role in meeting client service goals and enhancing operational efficiency. Dr. Berg's previous positions include roles at Eurofins Built Environmental Testing and research in plant genetics at Oklahoma State University.
