Pablo Hofelich to Become CEO of 2G Energy AG in 2025
Pablo Hofelich, currently serving as Chief Sales Officer, will join the Management Board of 2G Energy AG and become the CEO at the Annual General Meeting in June 2025. This strategic transition follows the decision of Christian Grotholt, the current CEO and company founder, to join the Supervisory Board after three decades in leadership, pending AGM approval.
Additionally, Ludger Holtkamp, Chief Operating Officer, will leave the Management Board at the end of July 2025. He plans to retire at the age of 62, marking the end of his contract. The Management Board will be restructured to ensure further profitability, spearheaded by Hofelich alongside two other members during the summer of 2025.
The new group structure supports international growth. Operational activities will shift to the newly established 2G Heek GmbH, while the remaining divisions will focus on sales and service within Germany and Austria.
