OVHcloud Launches Managed Rancher Service for Multi-Cloud Application Management

Roubaix – September 12th 2024 – OVHcloud has announced the global availability of its Managed Rancher Service. Part of its expanding Public Cloud portfolio, this service targets mid-sized to enterprise organizations with multiple clusters or multi-cloud architecture. With no vendor lock-in, it offers control, security, and productivity on any cloud platform and at the edge.

Initially introduced in beta at KubeCon 2024, Managed Rancher Service uses Rancher, a leading orchestration tool developed in partnership with SUSE. It unifies Kubernetes clusters for consistent operations and workload management while ensuring enterprise-grade security. Features include a single-pane UI and an extensible service catalog.

Yaniv Fdida, OVHcloud’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting Hybrid and Multi-Cloud use cases with this new service. Customers benefit from OVHcloud’s environmentally friendly datacenters and high data protection standards, including ISO 27001 certification.

The service is available globally, excluding the United States, on a pay-as-you-go model with two subscription plans: OVHcloud Edition and Standard. Detailed pricing information can be found on the OVHcloud website.
