Over 70 Startups Set to Compete in Hong Kong's EPiC 2024 Grand Finale

Following rigorous semi-final contests in multiple global cities, over 70 startups have been shortlisted for the Elevator Pitch Competition (EPiC) 2024 Grand Finale in Hong Kong. This announcement comes after the close of semi-finals in Hong Kong and Stuttgart, marking the end of the international pitch series led by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP).

The EPiC 2024 Grand Finale, scheduled for 26 April 2024, promises to be a significant event with startups vying for up to US$45 million in investment, US$5 million in HKSTP venture funding, US$240,000 in cash prizes, and strategic partnership opportunities. Notably, the finale will be held at the iconic Sky100 venue in the International Commerce Centre, Hong Kong’s tallest building, where participants will deliver 60-second elevator pitches while ascending the tower.

HKSTP has highlighted the extraordinary quality and innovation of the semi-finalists, emphasizing the global footprint and cross-regional innovation opportunities facilitated by the competition. The finalists, divided into PropTech, FinTech, and MobilityTech tracks, will be judged by a panel of experts from leading Hong Kong innovation ecosystems and global judges. These include prominent figures in the fields of technology, banking, and corporate innovation.
