Ovation Science Expands Transdermal Cannabis Products to Pennsylvania

Ovation Science Inc. has announced the launch of its transdermal cannabis products in Pennsylvania through its licensee, PA Options for Wellness Inc. This marks the company's second licensing agreement in the US, enhancing its strategy to partner with leading cannabis companies state-by-state.

The Pennsylvania medical cannabis market includes over 850,000 registered patients, with more than 170 dispensaries. PA Options will distribute Ovation's products under the "Mood" brand. The company's facilities feature a 65,000-square-foot production area in collaboration with Penn State University for medical research.

CEO Terry Howlett expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the potential for science-backed solutions. Ovation's Invisicare® technology is noted for its advanced cannabinoid absorption, with studies indicating a 10-fold increase in CBD delivery through the skin compared to other products.

The company's US expansion continues with operations in Nevada and imminent entry into Missouri, while ending a previous agreement for Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Mississippi.
