During the Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month, Ottobock North America has unveiled several initiatives aimed at bolstering mobility, advocacy, and access to its pioneering prosthetic and orthotic devices. To promote freedom of movement, Ottobock is launching Running and Mobility clinics across North America, starting with a notable event in Austin, TX, on April 20, 2024. These clinics are designed to accommodate individuals across various mobility levels and target both beginners and advanced adaptive athletes with intensive coaching from Paralympic athletes. Ottobock's latest running-specific prosthetic devices will be highlighted, providing hands-on experience to attendees.

Parallel to these clinics, Ottobock North America is actively participating in the "28 by 28" movement, collaborating with organizations such as Wiggle Your Toes, AOPA, and the Amputee Coalition to advocate for expanded orthotic and prosthetic care coverage in 28 states by the 2028 Paralympic Games.
