OTI Greentech AG Reports Positive Q1 Earnings for 2024

OTI Greentech AG, an innovative and sustainable chemical product and service provider headquartered in Berlin, revealed a significant earnings improvement in the first quarter of 2024. Recording an operating EBIT of EUR 115 thousand compared to a slightly negative result in the first quarter of 2023, the company experienced a favorable start to the year. This enhancement is ascribed to operational cost optimizations and an increase in gross margin despite an 11% drop in operating revenue resulted from a contract amendment with a key client.

The company's subsidiaries in the USA and Italy, KMI Cleaning Solutions and UNIservice Unisafe respectively, played crucial roles in this positive progression. Both subsidiaries focused on high-margin specialty products and services like the Fire, Rescue & Safety security solutions in Italy, which have contributed to the increased profitability.
