Ostrom Climate Appoints Tejinder Virk as Chief Executive Officer

Vancouver, BC - Ostrom Climate Solutions Inc. has appointed Tejinder Virk as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Virk succeeds Phil Cull, who will now serve as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), focusing on the company's carbon project development and technical operations.

Tejinder Virk was previously the Chief Strategy Officer at Ostrom and is a co-founder of NLX Capital. His background includes extensive experience in venture operations, capital markets, and investment banking. Mr. Virk's new role aligns with Ostrom's strategy to enhance profitability and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

The company targets significant revenue growth in the carbon project sector. According to BloombergNEF, demand for high-quality carbon offsets is projected to rise dramatically, potentially reaching 1.37 billion tons of CO2 equivalent by 2030.

Ostrom recently launched the Upper Pampanga River Climate-Smart Agriculture Rice Project (UPRIIS), aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in rice cultivation. The project is central to Ostrom's focus on high-quality carbon project development and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS).
