OSMOSUN and Watera International: Merger for a promising future in water treatment

OSMOSUN, a specialist in solar desalination solutions, has unveiled its 2025 half-year results. Revenue reached €0.6 million, down from 2024, reflecting recent challenges. However, adjusted EBITDA improved, falling from -€2.5 million to -€1.2 million.

Unibios's entry into the capital, followed by the partnership with Watera International, marks a new era. This collaboration strengthens the company's equity, bringing it to €8.3 million and paves the way for synergies. Watera, a long-standing player in water treatment, brings its expertise and a proven business model.

The objective is to achieve a performance similar to that of Watera, with a strong presence in Europe and EMEA. An internal reorganization and a name change to Watera are envisaged to concretize this new momentum.
