OSF HealthCare Joins MediLedger Network to Enhance Pricing Accuracy and Contract Management

OSF HealthCare, a prominent health system operating in Illinois and Michigan, has announced its collaboration with MediLedger Network. The partnership aims to improve the alignment of contract and pricing processes across OSF's pharmacy sites through advanced technological integration.

The MediLedger Network includes a variety of health systems, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), manufacturers, and distributors. It employs a robust four-way matching system to ensure consistent and accurate pricing, thereby revolutionizing contract management. Sandra Salverson, senior vice president of pharmacy services at OSF HealthCare, emphasized that leveraging MediLedger technology is a significant step towards pricing transparency and operational efficiency.

The system enables OSF HealthCare to publish its roster directly to GPOs, manufacturers, and wholesalers, simplifying the administrative processes related to managing customer eligibility and aligning more closely with GPO’s on-site eligibility requirements.
