Orqa Expands Drone Production, Reducing Dependence on Chinese Technology

Orqa, a leader in FPV and unmanned aerial systems, has expanded production capabilities at its headquarters in Osijek, Croatia. The facility is now equipped to produce up to 280,000 NDAA-compliant drones annually using proprietary components. This strategic move marks a significant shift away from reliance on Chinese supply chains.

The expansion addresses growing demand for defense-grade UAS systems devoid of Chinese parts. Orqa's vertically integrated approach ensures comprehensive control over drone performance and security. CEO Srdjan Kovacevic highlighted this milestone as evidence of Europe's potential to foster independent defense technology capacity.
