Organto Provides Bi-Weekly Update on Filing of Annual Financial Statements
Organto Foods Inc. (TSXV:OGO)(OTCQB:OGOFF), a provider of organic and non-GMO fruit and vegetable products, has issued an update regarding its late filing of annual financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023. The management cease trade order (MCTO) was granted on May 1, 2024, by the British Columbia Securities Commission, restricting trading by the Company’s executives until the filings are completed.
The Company confirmed ongoing work to complete the annual audit but indicated it might not meet the June 28, 2024 MCTO filing deadline and has applied for an extension to July 28, 2024. Organto reassured investors that no other defaults have occurred, there are no insolvency proceedings, and there is no undisclosed material information.
