Orell Füssli Strengthens Swiss Education with SKV AG Acquisition

Orell Füssli AG has announced the acquisition of Verlag SKV AG, a significant provider of learning media in Switzerland. This move aligns with Orell Füssli's growth strategy, targeting expansion in the learning media sector. The acquisition enhances its portfolio, which already includes diverse educational and legal media, reinforcing its status as a leading Swiss provider.

Sascha M. Burkhalter of the Swiss Association of Commercial Employees expressed optimism about the sustainable education strategies this acquisition will foster. Noteworthy is that SKV's existing management and all employees will remain onboard. Orell Füssli has chosen to keep the purchase price confidential.

CEO Daniel Link highlighted the acquisition as a step forward in broadening their offerings, particularly in commercial vocational education. Orell Füssli aims to leverage combined expertise to explore new opportunities for educational development in Switzerland.
