Orell Füssli Reports Strong Financial Growth in 2024
Zurich, 14 March 2025 - Orell Füssli AG announced a successful financial year in 2024, marked by significant growth in all sectors. Revenue increased by 8.7% to CHF 252.5 million, and EBIT rose by 24.5% to CHF 22.6 million. The net income surged by 19.6% to CHF 17.5 million. The Board recommends increasing the dividend to CHF 4.40 per share.
The company's growth strategy in security and education has surpassed expectations, with organic sales growth exceeding targets. The Security Printing Division saw revenue climb to CHF 86.4 million, aided by new international clients, while the Industrial Systems division increased its revenue to CHF 24.8 million.
Book Retailing benefitted from new store openings, bolstering its revenue to CHF 248.6 million. The publishers achieved growth with successful new publications and partnerships. Procivis strengthened its position in digital credentials, with notable orders for its Procivis One software.
