ONWARD Medical Appoints Lucas Buchanan to Board of Directors

ONWARD Medical N.V. has announced the appointment of Lucas Buchanan to its Board of Directors as a non-executive member. Buchanan, previously CFO and COO at Silk Road Medical, brings over 25 years of experience in commercialization and finance to the company. At Silk Road Medical, he played a key role in the company's IPO and its acquisition by Boston Scientific.

CEO Dave Marver expressed enthusiasm for Buchanan's addition, noting his extensive experience in leading medical technology companies. Buchanan himself praised ONWARD's vision and technology, emphasizing its potential impact on those with spinal cord injuries and movement disabilities.

Buchanan has also held positions at The Vertical Group and Medtronic, among others, and holds a BA from Duke University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
