Zentra Group Acquires Development Site in Manchester

Zentra Group PLC, a Manchester-based residential developer, has announced its acquisition of a site on Old Mill Street, Manchester, for £1.425 million. This purchase is contingent upon formal planning approval, anticipated in March 2025, with legal completion expected 15 days after approval. The construction is slated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, lasting 18 months.

This marks the inaugural project under Zentra Living, a brand focused on creating design-led apartments for urban professionals. The 0.18-acre site, previously a car park and rectory, is part of the New Islington Masterplan—an area known for its extensive regeneration and vibrant community atmosphere.

The development will feature a six-storey building with 40 residential units and a commercial unit on the ground floor. Its proximity to the New Islington tram stop enhances its connectivity to the city.
