Omer-Decugis & Cie posts solid growth in the first half of 2023/24
Rungis, May 13, 2024 – Omer-Decugis & Cie, specialist in fresh and exotic fruits and vegetables, reports a significant increase in its turnover for the first half of the 2023/24 financial year, reaching 123.8 million euros. euros, an increase of 18.5%. This performance includes the results of the second quarter with a turnover of 57.7 million euros, marking a growth of 13.7%.
The group's SIIM division contributed significantly to this performance by recording a turnover of 42.1 million euros, while the BRATIGNY division generated 15.6 million euros. These results take into account the impacts of recent acquisitions, including that of EMA'S, a fruit and vegetable wholesaler in Scandinavia, and Champaris France.
Through these promising results, the group confirms its growth prospects in the short, medium and long term. Vincent Omer-Decugis, Chairman and CEO, underlined the robustness of the group's strategy, aiming to increase production capacities and adapt to consumer trends which favor exotic and ecological products.
