O'KEY Group Records Net Profit of RUB 2.0 Billion and 20.3% EBITDA Growth in 2024

O'KEY Group S.A., a major player in Russian food retail, has reported a net profit of RUB 2.0 billion for the fiscal year 2024. This marks a significant turnaround from the previous year's net loss of RUB 2.9 billion. The group's total revenue also improved, increasing by 5.5% year-on-year to RUB 219.4 billion, driven largely by growth in both O'KEY hypermarkets and DA! discounters.

The group's EBITDA saw a substantial rise of 20.3%, reaching RUB 20.5 billion, with the EBITDA margin growing to 9.3%. A notable contribution came from DA! discounters, whose EBITDA surged by 61%, bolstered by operational efficiencies and a growing number of mature stores. Gross profit rose by 7.9%, driven by effective procurement strategies and better shrinkage cost management.

While O'KEY hypermarkets reported a 6.2% increase in EBITDA, the DA! segment greatly outperformed, highlighting the group's strategic focus on optimization.
