NuRAN Wireless Inc., a leading provider of mobile and broadband wireless infrastructure solutions, unveils Solstice, a solar innovation for charging phones. Aimed at rural and remote communities in emerging African countries, this solution aims to improve mobile connectivity. Resulting from a strategic collaboration with another Quebec company specializing in charging solutions, Solstice meets the energy needs of regions not served by the electricity network, offering a sustainable and ecological alternative. Capable of charging up to 225 phones per day via two charging stations, this solution also integrates innovative software features to facilitate access and monitoring of usage.

In line with its commitment to improving living conditions in emerging countries, NuRAN plans to reinvest the profits generated by Solstice in local communities, once the initial investment has been amortized. The availability of Solstice to other mobile operators in Africa could also open up new revenue streams for the company.
