NORMA Group Sells Water Management Division to ADS

NORMA Group has announced the sale of its Water Management business unit to Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) for USD 1 billion. This marks a critical step in NORMA's strategic shift towards becoming a focused industrial supplier. The transaction, expected to conclude in early 2026, allows NORMA to focus on its core business of advanced joining technology.

Proceeds from the sale will be allocated to debt reduction, acquisitions, and returning value to shareholders. The Water Management unit, comprising six plants and employing 1,100 people, generated EUR 300 million in sales in 2024. ADS, headquartered in Ohio, is a leader in stormwater solutions.

NORMA aims to achieve higher profitability as it transforms by 2028, planning to streamline operations and enhance its Industry Applications sector.
