Nordex Group Secures First Spanish Order for N175/6.X Turbines
Nordex SE has announced its first Spanish order for N175/6.X turbines, commissioned by Abei Energy for the Avellanosa wind farm in Castile and León. This order includes eight turbines and marks a significant step towards expanding wind energy projects in Spain. The turbines will be installed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 119 meters, with installation starting in late summer 2026 and commissioning early 2027.
Abei Energy has also opted for Nordex's 20-year Premium Service for turbine maintenance, ensuring long-term reliability. According to Francisco Cejudo, Director Sales Spain at Nordex Group, the turbines are well-suited for Spanish conditions and are expected to significantly contribute to wind energy projects in the region.
The deal underscores Abei Energy's commitment to the Spanish wind energy market and emphasizes their dedication to the energy transition and decarbonization goals.
