Nordex Group Secures 68 MW Wind Farm Order from EnBW
Nordex Group has received a significant order from EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG for the Derental-Lauenförde wind farm in Germany. Set to install ten N175/6.X wind turbines, Nordex will deliver a total capacity of 68 megawatts. These turbines, mounted on 179-meter high concrete hybrid towers, are designed for regions with lower wind speeds. Installation is scheduled to begin in April 2027, with completion in September of the same year.
This contract marks a continuation of the collaborative framework agreement between EnBW and Nordex, extended in mid-2025. José Luis Blanco, Nordex CEO, expressed appreciation for this opportunity. Peter Heydecker from EnBW emphasized the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions as part of the energy transition.
