Nordex Group Secures 246 MW Wind Energy Orders in Spain
Hamburg, 8 January 2026. Nordex Group announced the acquisition of new orders at the end of 2025, amounting to a total of 246 MW in Spain. The company will install 38 wind turbines across the provinces of Teruel, Navarra, Burgos, and León. The installations will feature various turbine types, including N163/6.X, N175/6.X, N133/4800, N163/5.X, and N149/5.X.
A notable project includes Nadara's first wind energy initiative in Spain with 12 N163/6.X turbines in León, expected to be operational by early 2027. This 75 MW project marks a significant partnership and expands Nordex's influence in the Spanish wind market. Each order is accompanied by a long-term Premium Service contract to maximize energy output and ensure high availability.
