Nikon Partners with LPGA and LET as Official Rangefinder Supplier

Nikon Inc. has entered into a multi-year partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and Ladies European Tour (LET) to become the official rangefinder supplier for both tours. This collaboration was announced on April 24, 2024, and will see Nikon providing its COOLSHOT Rangefinders to athletes during competitions and practice sessions.

The COOLSHOT Rangefinders are designed for high precision and accuracy, essential for measuring distances in golf. Naoki Onozato, President and CEO of Nikon Inc., expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the opportunity to support and enhance the performance of talented athletes.

LPGA and LET officials also welcomed the partnership, highlighting the benefits of supplying high-quality equipment to athletes, which supports their success and confidence on the field. Rangefinders have been permissible in some tour competitions since 2020, and with this new partnership, Nikon’s devices will be used broadly across events, complying with golf’s official rules.
