BlackRock reduces its stake in Nexans
The New York-based asset management firm BlackRock Inc. announced that it had fallen below the 5% threshold of Nexans' share capital and voting rights on February 6, 2025. This statement, received by mail on February 9, 2026, indicates that BlackRock now holds 4.77% of the French company's share capital and voting rights, representing 2,085,867 shares. This decrease resulted from a reduction in the Nexans shares held as collateral.
It is specified that these shares include, in particular, shares held in the form of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and shares held through contracts for difference without maturity. Nexans' total share capital consists of 43,744,779 shares.
