Nexa Resources Releases Q3 2024 Exploration Results

Nexa Resources S.A. announced its drilling and assay results for Q3 2024. The company aimed at near-mine expansion, while facing operational delays and weather issues at Cerro Lindo, resulting in a 14% shortfall in exploration activities. Cumulative drilling reached 170,008 meters, with Peru, Brazil, and Namibia being the main sites.

Significant findings included zinc and copper mineralization at various sites. At Cerro Lindo, orebody 8B showed 2.75% Zn and 0.47% Cu. Other sites like Aripuanã and Vazante exhibited promising results with varying zinc and copper yields.

Moving forward, Nexa plans 20,275 meters of exploration drilling in the next quarter. Despite challenges, the company remains focused on expanding its exploration portfolio.
